TRADITIONAL-STYLE HOUSING FOR A NEW ESTATE WITH A VILLAGE LOOK AND FEEL
Eight large houses were constructed on a former paddock site in a project that was financially beneficial for the landowner.
Situated in Faulkland, just outside Bath, the homes had to have a traditional look and feel in order to fit with the existing village setting.
Each dwelling is of timber frame construction and well-insulated for energy efficiency, with air source heat pumps instead of gas central heating, shielding residents from increasing gas prices and aiding Britain’s shift away from fossil fuel energy.
