A GRADE I LISTED COACH HOUSE FROM THE 17TH CENTURY CONVERTED INTO A HOME

Once a coach house, this listed barn dates back nearly three centuries and is Grade I listed. It’s rare to get planning permission to convert such a listed building like this one, but Carter Hughes Davies achieved just that and it has been turned into a comfortable, spacious four-bedroom dwelling. We did the surveys, and obtained planning, listed building consent and building regulation consent. Externally, the design is respectful to the building’s historic character, but inside you’ll find a more contemporary appearance.
